Isaiah 55

Life giving Word, preceding all,
proceeding from the throne,
in outward pulsing race
of undiminished flow,
fall gently down on us
like snow. And drench
us with your streaming
grace. Go deep within
this thirsty earth, burst forth
among the hills and then
return with coursing song.
Unlock these dried-up lips,
inspire these longing lungs
with life. O Logos! Lead us
to the source! The gushing,
rushing, undiminished spring
where beauty, goodness, truth and love
forever sing.
