Advent VI
by Kyle Lehman
You pull the cloth around her shoulders, hold her hand.
And turn your eyes from all that you would understand.
Your knowing waited for the knowledge full.
You gave her to be known.
And kept her for His very own.
That in the secret of your Mary’s womb
A sacred face could find a home
And know you as His very son.

Beautiful words.
Bring a mother myself, I have often pondered Mary’s radically changed life… Beautiful!
