Reverence

by Gary Yoder

You should have seen me juggling junior in the back
and Justin doing his disappearing act
and then a high jump to the pew in the back.
It’s the Yoder circus boys
and you’ll find it tops
between Habakkuk and the book of Acts.
We also have a dancing girl who’s tossing snacks.
Do you disapprove? We’re glad to move,
Don’t let our monkeys block your view.
Now, I really, really hate to brag—
I’ve still got Lonnie Leopard in the bag!

Gary is a composer, artist, poet, and photographer, pursuing beauty and the healing of his Father’s world through the arts.
