The Gift
by Bryan Snyder
A breeze chanced on our meeting place
And roused me from a languid space
To prayer intoned. I raised my face.
Wondering, I saw your hand reached out
To take some gift we’d prayed about.
I felt your calm distrust of doubt.
The idle swing of word and wind
Became a sacred living thing,
Our need entwined with answering.
Bryan is excited to meet God while he wanders through God’s creation or our smaller creations.
