Only the Wind Has Changed

by Rebecca Weber

The sun still climbs to its height of sky,
As a heated orb at noon,
The roses still burst from their tight red buds
As sweet and uncertain as June.

Summer still sings of its growing things,
Pretending to stay all year
But the wind has shifted, the wind has changed,
And the season of harvest is here.

Vagabond breezes have broken loose
To whisper of change to come
From breast of the wanderers rises a cry
For the place where their wings come home.

Rebecca Weber is excited to share with Tim for a lifetime in laughter, her last name, and a love of hospitality.
