Poetry Readings

Our quarterly poetry readings are a place where readers and writers can get together in a friendly space and enjoy literature. We think that good food, good books, and good conversations make for a very worthwhile afternoon. Our readings help to create a community of those who care about meaningful literature. We generally read original poetry, old classics, and occasionally stories as well, interspersing our reading with plenty of conversations. Join us and bring something you’ve written or another favorite you’d like to share.

We usually hold our readings at several small cafés in Maryland and Pennsylvania, or in the homes of friends. If you’re unable to attend the readings in Maryland or Pennsylvania, and you’d like to hold an event in another location, contact us and we’d be glad to help advertise for you.
